Obsidian vineyard nestles in the coastal hills of the Onetangi
viticultural area on the northern coast of Waiheke. The vines are
planted on steep slopes in an amphitheatre-like setting, and the cellar
door is situated amongst the vines and wetland.
  At Obsidian we strive to grow consistently ripe and flavoursome grapes
and craft them into distinctive wines, ideal for food matching. The
flagship wines are labeled Obsidian. The Weeping Sands wines are more
accessible, yet fully express the Onetangi Vineyard terroir.
